BetterInGame Hunger Games Battlefields
Currently, there are only eleven different arenas in which players can battle in. They all vary greatly in size, time limit, chest quantity, style of building, and player limit.
Here is the current list of the eleven arenas:

Being the first map ever built, as mostly for testing purposes, this map lacks in size. But, although small, you will still find this map an interesting map to play on. This map features a cavern like area in which many different skinny pathways and halls line their way through pure stone. Players run through these close quarters area in a death match that commonly doesn't last too long, thanks to both the close quarters combat, and small size of map.

This map is exactly what it sounds like, a roofed forest. On this map, hills covered the landscape, which in turn, are also covered by loads of trees so thick that there is almost a whole new level to fight in on top of all the leaves on the many trees. While playing on this map, you will encounter very few chests, making food a rare and precious thing to find. Lakes, caverns, and tree houses are a common sight on this map, making a run map for both ranged weapons and sword war-fare.
This map is one of the newer maps, and recreates an assassins creed type battle arena in which players can hop across rooftops and sprint through corridors between italian like housing that is split into two sides by a thin river. This map is great for both small player matches and larger ones, making this map a really fun, useful map to play on. This is personnally one of my favorite maps.
This map is a medium sized arena enclosed by a large glass globe. The arena is split into four areas by a stone-brick road about 5 blocks wide, that continue all the way to each edge of the map in all four directions, north, east, south, and west. This map holds many tall hills in which players can climb to both scope out the map and use to snipe others with their bow, but also easily reveal your position. This map also has many secretly hidden chests which players can seek out for those extra supplies. The arena creates a fast paced gameplay due to the open air of the area, and the lack of hiding spots within the map.
This map is based off the second arena in the hunger games series, the one in catching fire. Although the arena in the books holds twelve sections, this map only holds four, (because of the blocky style of minecraft).
Each player starts on their own diamond block inside a large, which holds the cornucopia of chests on the center. The four sections of the map hold many finds, such a old statues, dense jungle, abandoned villages, waterfalls, caves, rivers, tree houses, and much much more. The map is over 300 blocks wide, making this map a long timed gamed map, but rather useful for games with many user playing at once.
This map is what the name suggests, a snowglobe. Players spawn in a glass sphere filled with snow, that holds a small forest of spruce trees, a cabin, a campsite, and a cavern scattered throughout the map. Players fight to the death using what they can find throughout the map. Games in this arena are often really fast thanks to the smaller map size and extremely open air of the arena. The snow can make it difficult for players to move though.
Seven floating islands all connected by thin floating pathways make up this map. Players must be careful to not be shot off the edge while battling each other, because falling will result will death in the void. One island in the center holds where the players spawn and the cornucopia, while the six remaining islands all surround the center island. Each island holds its own theme, from natural looking to the netherrack covered hell of the nether.

This map features a wrecked oil tanker in Alaska. This arena is a hilly snow covered biome with ice spikes and secretly hidden chests all throughout the map. This map is a great map for both teams and free-for-all, and always has an interesting battle between the last two standing. Be careful not to fall though, because this map holds tons of ice and cliffs for players to make one simple mistake to end their life.
Creator(s): Tanman, Katniss
This map is a recreation of San Andreas from the game GTA. The map features tons of office buildings, stores, shacks, and homes throughout the map to really make it seem like you're inside the city. Streets crisscross across the map that hold cars too. Players can use each unique building or car to loot, hide in, and battle to the death in. This map has many great attributes and was the first map made to be really large in size. It was a pioneer to good map making for the Hunger Games.
This map features a small forest biome that is dotted with small hills and ponds. Trees cover part of the arena while water and hills cover the rest. Players fight to the death with whatever the can find with the scattered chests around the arena.
This map features many small building along with two large buildings that players can use to hide in and to fight within. The map resembles a small town, but holds many secrets to the sewer system below. Players can access this sewer system to go below the map where they will find themself in a dark, overgrown system of tunnels that can lead to different parts in the map.
So, please try out the new hunger games of the famine server! It's a guarantee that you'll have a great time battling against your friends.
