Train ride 05-31

Posted by Acis , 11 June 2017 - - - - - - · 111 views

This is technically the first journal post Ive written. I came back later to add more detail.

We woke up early and went to the station in downtown Denver. I was still not entirely fit but I was okay to travel. Stood in line for my train behind Secilia and Angela, a mother and daughter that were going to salt lake city. Also ended up sharing a seating are...

Culture and non-culture 05-30

Posted by Acis , 09 June 2017 - - - - - - · 333 views

Still a bit under the weather, I got up at around 8. Our first goal of the day was to go to the Botenical Gardens near downtown Denver. The weather was nice and sunny and the garden was pretty quiet when we got there. First goal was getting some breakfast, we settled on coffee and some salmon quiche (which ended up being bacon!). Much to Kelseys announce....

05-29 There gold in them hills

Posted by Acis , 09 June 2017 - - - - - - · 89 views

On this day we went on our first field trip. The class consisted of Jesse, Kelsey, Phil, Justin and I. The excursion went to Idaho springs, to visit the Argo gold mine and to drink a few craft beers at Tommyknockers and this other place I don't remember the name of (good weizener though).

After picking up some breakfast burritos we drove up to the small...

05-28 Top Golf and Dragons

Posted by Acis , 09 June 2017 - - - - - - · 119 views

When I woke up I still didn't feel all that well, but we had plans for the day. First one being Top Golf, a game that wasn't really about golf but more about hedonism. We arrived there was the place opened and I met Max, the final beardy guy of the Dungeon and Dragons crew. In total there were 6 of us playing, with Justin showing up later.

Top Golf is a...

05-25,05-26 and 05-27

Posted by Acis , 09 June 2017 - - - - - - · 120 views

The blogs are going to be a bit shorter from now on because I didn't write them in time. My memory is kind of failing getting much of the details.

This day was a rather quiet day, the plan was to play some minecraft and build a hungergames map. This didn't really go according to plan after I managed to crash the creative server with an overly enthusiasti...

Who thought it was a good idea to put month before day. 05-24-17

Posted by Acis , 09 June 2017 - - - - - - · 85 views

Had a decent nights sleep and woke up at 7 A.M. This would have been 3 P.M. my time. I felt like I had a great headstart on any jet lag. Breakfast consisted of Bacon, eggs and toast.

Jesse had a work thing to attend to in the morning, pretty much stand in the hot sun on concrete trying to get stoners to leave a review on a their website. In exchange they...

Coming to America (not the movie) 23-05-2016

Posted by Acis , 04 June 2017 - - - - - - · 113 views

After saving up plenty of money and subsequently getting fired I was left with a choice. Either suck it up, get a new job and then keep saving up more to eventually buy a house like a responsible adult, or just blow my money on something cool and then figuring out what to do afterwards. I didn't feel like being a responsible adult.

My plane to America le...

Splinter Development log pt2: Traps and Treasure

Posted by Acis , 09 July 2014 - - - - - - · 1,132 views

Welcome back all!

Last time we discussed the general plan of the splinter server, and some of the ideas we had for it. We've actually come along quite far with the general build, but we're far from done. So today I'll discuss the area of the map you will (for your own sake?) see least of all: The Sewers.

The sewers came to be in a pretty unspectacular w...

Splinter Development Log pt1: The Plan

Posted by Acis , 26 June 2014 - - - - - - · 715 views

As a lot of you probably know: we've picked up an interest in our Splinter server again, and we're planning on making it one of our most designed servers yet!

But first for those you don't know, a little background on this server!

Splinter is a factions server that also recently had McMMO enabled, to provide that little boost. It also got it's own spawn...

A biologists story

Lore, Monarch, Aztec
A biologists story Moctezuma II

Apparently that's the name of he (it?) who lies in the tomb. Well, if you could call it a tomb.
It's been three days now since I escaped that place, and I feel ready to write about it.

Let me start at the beginning though.

Three months ago Dr.Endemine, Prof.Ciafiss and I first found out about the ruins. This took some effort though,
the l...
